Terms of Service

Who we are
Sitejar is operated by Mohsen Vaziri (sole proprietor). By using Sitejar, you agree to these Terms.
What Sitejar is
Sitejar scans websites and reports on accessibility, security, privacy, deceptive-design-risk, quality, and SEO issues it can detect automatically. It's a diagnostic tool, not a compliance certification: a high score means our scanner found no issues within what it's able to check, not that a site is guaranteed to meet any specific legal standard (ADA, WCAG, or otherwise). Automated scanning cannot catch everything a manual audit would.
Your account
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping your login credentials and any API keys you generate confidential. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account and API keys, including usage that exceeds your plan's limits.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Sitejar to:
- Scan a site you don't own or don't otherwise have permission to scan.
- Attempt to overwhelm, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any site or system.
- Circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or feature gates by automated or other means.
- Resell or redistribute scan results, reports, or API access without our written permission.
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms.
Plans and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through our billing provider, Paddle, and renew automatically until cancelled. See our Refund Policy for how cancellations and refunds work.
The developer API
API access is subject to the rate limit shown on your plan. We may adjust rate limits or the shape of API responses over time; breaking changes are made through a new API version rather than changing an existing one in place.
No warranty
Sitejar is provided "as is." We don't guarantee that scan results are complete, error-free, or sufficient to establish legal compliance with any accessibility, privacy, or security standard. You remain responsible for your own site's compliance with applicable law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sitejar isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including reliance on a scan result.
